Dear Son,

 

      Sorry it's been awhile since I've written.  Amy started having labor pains around the middle of January.  The doctors stopped it, and gave her some pills to keep her from going into labor again for at least 5 weeks.  She had the baby March 6.

Her name is Scarlett Rikki.  She weighed 5 lbs 11 oz and was 18 1/4 inches long.  She's so beautiful.  She definately has your eyes.  Your aunt said it was almost spooky.  She is perfect.  Me and Eric are going over tomorrow so we can spend more than just a few minutes with her.  The first time Eric (Poppa) held her, she had him totally wrapped around her tiny finger.
